Did anybody else read/hear about the mass murder of dogs in Beijing? I cannot believe that they would kill every single dog that is not a police or military dog just to stop the "outbreak" or whatever of rabies. They said that four people died of rabies, out of like two hundred or so that were bitten. That is no reason to go and kill all of the other dogs. They didn't even humanly euthanize them. They clubbed them with poles!!! They used sirens and things to make the dogs bark and then they clubbed them right there in their own yards. On top of all of this, they give the owners sixty cents per dog, like that is going to replace your family pet. I am so pissed about this. I cannot believe that people would do something like that. They also threw them into mass graves that were not even big enough to fit all of them.

I think what makes me EXTREMELY angry is that the people there were ok with it, because it is what the government told them they had to do. What is wrong with people?!!! Even they man writing the article didn't seem like he was very angry about it, it was just like "Oh, it happens!" The government even set up road blocks, so that people could not go to a different county to save there dogs. Any dog found in the cars going across the borders was "sent for extermination".

I couldn't imagine if someone came and tried to kill my dogs. They would literally have to kill me first. I would definitely die before I would let someone just kill my dog. AGHHHHHHHHHH, WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!?!?!?!?!
